How to Log Simultaneously on Two Gmail Accounts on Same Browser
Have you ever wondered how to log in at the same time into your Gmail accounts? Some people have two or more accounts and they naturally find themselves trying to log into both accounts. The normal way of logging into two accounts at the same time is by opening two different browsers, for example, Firefox and Safari or Internet Explorer and Opera.
However, if you do not have the time for opening two browsers or you think it’s unnecessary, there is a way for opening your Gmail accounts on the same browser. The common browsers, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome have different ways for simultaneously logging into two or more Google mail accounts.
Internet Explorer 8
1 – Go to the Internet Explorer 8 menu, then click on “Safety”. Choose “InPrivate Browsing”. Set the mode for InPrivate Browsing to open one Gmail account. Set the mode for normal browsing to open another Gmail account. After doing this, you will be able to run both accounts on 2 different windows of the same browser. You can also simultaneously open two Google accounts on the windows.
Firefox has three ways to open and run many different Gmail accounts simultaneously.
1 – You can install an add-on known as IETab.This add-on will allow you to open Internet Explorer inside a Firefox tab. With this method, one Gmail account will open in the normal tab and the other account will open in the IETab.
2 – Install the Firefox add-on ‘Gmail Manager’. This add-on can manage many accounts at the same time.
3 – Another interesting Firefox add-on is the ‘Cookie Pie’ addon. This add-on stores different cookies in different windows and tabs.
To open more than one account on Google Chrome browser, you can change the settings for the Incognito mode. Go the Chrome menu bar, then click on the ‘Wrench’ icon. Choose “New Incognito Window” and voila you are done. You can then run Google Chrome and open two windows to run two different Gmail accounts.
When you log in via the Incognito Mode on Google Chrome, you will not be able to save your login information. However, the normal mode will allow you to save your login information, therefore you will automatically log in when you open Gmail again.
